It’s been super hot around here lately and I’ve been avoiding standing over a hot stove for dinner. Pulled out the crock pot. This Swiss Turkey took three (yep, 3) minutes to prep, I kid you not.
Swiss Turkey
1 turkey loin, cut into 4 pieces
1/2t salt
1/4t pepper
4 slices swiss cheese
1 can cream mushroom soup
1/4c milk
Optional: 3 NM green chile, roasted, peeled, and diced
1 box stuffing
1/4c butter, melted
Spray crock pot with cooking spray for easy clean up.
Place turkey in crock pot, then salt and pepper the meat.
Cover with cheese slices.
In small bowl mix soup and milk (and green chile if using) then pour over meat.
Pour stuffing over soup.
Melt butter and drizzle over the top.
Cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.
That’s it!
